Two Feral Biopsies
Pedro Alegria
i2ADS/FBAUP, Portugal
I make art that dwells on the importance of the human role in the design of algorithms.
The emergence of the image from the multiplicity of graphic elements and the use of chance reveals the inner depths of artistic mind, exposing the ability to choose as the ultimate artistic act.
Two Feral Biopsies seeks to revisit some of the practices of early computer art through the usage of contemporary media, tools and technologies.

RECODE Online Exhibition
RECODE has admitted a resonance of the culture of the creative coding community as a plural movement of interpretation, reclaim, revisit, and/or resignification of artworks and fundamental practices of early computer graphics and art and its subsequent works through the usage of contemporary media, tools, and technologies.
We invite you to explore how artists, academics, researchers, and practitioners explored and interpreted the notion of recode in their works.
