In times of ecosystem distress, pollinatorDiplomacy#2 approaches a topic dear to the European Union and a key driver for a diverse and thriving environment: pollinators.
This piece presents a journey in three acts:
Act 1 A Natural World (in Distress)
Act 2 Disagreement | Crowds, deforestation & fire
Act 3 Revolution | Awareness. Swarm.
The sonic journey can also be lived independently, with spatial audio features in mind so you can feel the bees really about to enter your ears! There is no need to kill them; just leave them be.

Luis Henrique Almeida de Oliveira
Luis Henrique Almeida de Oliveira is a pollinator based in Braga, a UNESCO Creative City. He is a master´s in Media Arts student at the University of Minho. Luis is driven to visit invisible worlds. That is the goal of exploring the lives of bees in the work-in-progress series pollinatorDiplomacy. That was also the intention when he was 1 of 10 artists commissioned by Creativity, Culture & Capital to produce a rapid response digital art reaction to Dream, Royal Shakespeare Company’s immersive theatre play.
