call for works

The Processing Community Day 2025 (PCD25@Porto) is a free and open-participation event aimed at promoting Creative Coding and Computational Thinking in the Arts and Design.

The event will take place on April 9-10, 2025, and we welcome all local, national, and international participants interested in this topic to join us at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto.

Following the model from previous editions, this year's program will feature a set of warm-up workshops, an online exhibition (resulting from the call for works), a keynote conference, a round table discussion, and an artist talks panel.

The PCD25@Porto is a voluntary and open-to-participate organization of the Communication Design, Visual Arts, and Drawing bachelor's degrees designed for the entire creative community. The event is organized in the contexts of the Research Program in Computation, Hybrid Practices and Culture (CPHC) and the Interest Group in Ludic Interfaces and Speculative Design (iLudens) with the support of the Research Institute in Art, Design, and Society (i2ADS) as part of the overall initiative of the Processing Foundation.

All events in the program are free, but registration is mandatory (soon).
